A Unique Bunny by D'Maria Scaglione Rating: 5 Stars A UNIQUE BUNNY is a children's book that takes the reader on a journey with Beautiful Dreamer, who is a disabled bunny. She is different than the other bunnies and learns about love, forgiveness, and random acts of kindness by finding some other misfists in a forbidden forest. The author does her own illustrations. The book is about 65 pages. It can be a read to or from the ages 8 and up. Adults love this book as well. It makes one feel as though they are not alone in the world and can rise above their circumstances. Her long journey, to be reunited with her family is aided buy a group of unlikely characters, each one is unique as well. Delightful and fairytale like, this story of discovering self worth and respecting the values of others will make an excellent bed-time-story, and should capture the little one’s attention and imagination. The story is fun and the langauge straightforward, but what I liked the most about Neveah and Natas were the themes of love, forgiveness and redemption. The characters are only human, they have flaws, and they falter. But they are all forgiven, or are given the chance of salvation. In addition, some of the characters achieve great things, but the author makes sure that credit for the feats all go to the old man upstairs, to demonstrate that we humans are merely instruments of God's will. It is humbling yet satisfying. The book is definitely what the title indicates it is, a spiritual fantasy. Good job! These are just a few of many reviews for my books.
